Wisconsin State Fair Youth Day Camp

Who wants to send a chlid to the State Fair Youth Camp for just $20? Donate Now!

State Fair Day Camp is a unique educational opportunity open to 2nd – 5th graders to come to the Fair! Youth attending State Fair Day Camp get an entire day of activities including a visit to the DNR Park, a tour of the Badgerland Financial Discovery Barnyard, and a trip down the Giant Slide! 2014 WI State Fair Poster On Sale Now

Congratulations to 2014 Fairtastic Poster Grand Champion Artist, Larry Schultz!

The Wisconsin State Fairtastic Art Competition was the first annual poster competition for 2014 and is a way to celebrate and engage local and statewide artisan talent. The Grand Champion piece will be displayed during the 2014 Wisconsin State Fair, presented by U.S. Cellular, July 31 - August 10. But you can purchase your own copy today!

Grand Champion Artist
Larry Schultz was chosen as the Grand Champion Artist of the 2014 Wisconsin State Fairtastic Poster Art Competition, who received a $1000 cash prize upon the completion of the final artwork.

Schultz grew up in Milton, Wis., a small, rural town known for its agriculture and community, and developed a passion for art, drawing and detail as a young boy. He established himself as a Wisconsin artist early on and took particular interest in applying his love for the outdoors to the canvas. Schultz has dedicated his life to his art, teaching classes, conducting painting workshops and designing murals, and has been awarded numerous recognitions and honors.

Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation Partners with FM 106.1 to Offer Lady Antebellum Concert Packages

West Allis, Wis. - January 24, 2014 –The Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation, a non-profit corporation that supports youth programming, and provides funding for future capital improvements at Wisconsin State Fair Park, has partnered with FM 106.1 for the unique opportunity to purchase concert packages for the recently announced headlining act, Lady Antebellum, who will perform at the Main Stage presented by Potawatomi on Saturday, August 9. There are two different packages that fans can purchase beginning Friday, January 31 at 10 a.m.

The VIP Backstage Meet and Greet Package includes one ticket for either a lower grandstand reserved seat or general admission ticket for the track (either option includes Fair Admission), the opportunity to meet the band backstage, a photo opportunity, one reserved parking ticket and a privately catered dinner with beverages at Saz's Hospitality Village located on the southwest end of the Fair Park. The VIP Backstage Meet and Greet Package will sell for $250 and up to six packages can be purchased per customer.

The Dinner and Show Package includes one ticket for either a lower grandstand reserved seat or general admission ticket for the track (either option includes Fair Admission), one reserved parking ticket and a privately catered dinner with beverages at Saz's Hospitality Village. The Dinner and Show Package will sell for $150 and up to six packages can be purchased per customer.                                                                                                    

There are only 50 of each package available, and they will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Both the VIP Backstage Meet and Greet Package and the Dinner and Show Package for Lady Antebellum will be sold through Saz's Hospitality Group by calling (414) 256-8772 or by ordering online at sazs.com beginning Friday, January 31, at 10 a.m. They will remain on sale until all packages are sold out.

"We are thrilled to provide this opportunity to Lady Antebellum fans," explained State Fair Park Foundation President Mike Wojciechowski. "It is through the work of our Board Members and the cooperation of the Wisconsin State Fair that we can offer these packages. With proceeds from this program we will continue to assist Wisconsin State Fair Park with programming and Fair Park improvements that could not otherwise be executed."

Show your pride in the Wisconsin State Fair by joining the Foundation's Fair Friends.  Friends support improvements, scholarships and youth programs at Wisconsin State Fair Park. Gift levels range from $150 to $2,500 and can be renewed each year.

All Friends will receive a personalized brick in the Grand Champion Patio located at the Central Mall Fountain on the fairgrounds.

In return for supporting the Foundation, Fair Friends are rewarded with special benefits not available to the general public.

To make sure your personalized brick is installed by the annual Wisconsin State Fair, please submit your order by May 30th. The annual deadline to receive all other benefits is June 30th.
