You can make a difference. Consider making a donation to the Foundation or volunteering at one of our many events. Friends of the Fair receive special benefits that any Wisconsin State Fair Fanatic would not want to miss!

FRIENDS OF THE FAIR

Show your pride in the Wisconsin State Fair by joining the Friends of the Fair Program. Fair Friends support scholarships, Wisconsin State Fair Youth Day Camp, and improvements at Wisconsin State Fair Park.

Friends levels range from $150 to $2,500 and all include an engraved, personalized brick paver installed in our Grand Champion Patio located around the Central Mall fountain at Wisconsin State Fair Park.

In return for joining, Fair Friends are rewarded with special benefits not available to the general public. To make sure that your brick is installed in time for the annual Wisconsin State Fair in August, orders must be received by May 30th. The deadline to receive all other Fair Friends benefits is June 30th. After these dates, benefits are for the following year's Wisconsin State Fair.

GIFT OF STOCK

For many, a gift of appreciated securities held more than one year may be the most advantageous way to make a gift. A gift of stock often results in both the avoidance of the capital gains tax and a full income tax deduction based on the valuation of the gift on the date the stock is transferred to the Foundation.* Stock gifts are a great way to create a named Legacy Fund. For information on how to make a stock gift to the Foundation, please call Keith Kalberer at 414-259-4138 or email keith.kalberer@wistatefair.com

* Please consult with your tax adviser to determine the specific tax benefits for your situation.

CREATE A LASTING LEGACY

We invite you to consider creating an endowed Legacy Fund as a lasting legacy of your interest in the Fair or to honor a special person or family. Named endowments can be established to provide general support for the Fair or to support an aspect of the Fair that is of special interest to you. Legacy Funds require a minimum gift of $20,000 and may be created with a current gift payable over as many as five years, a future gift through estate planning, or a combination of a current and planned gift.

To learn more about the Foundation's Endowment Program, contact Keith Kaleberer at 414-259-4138 or email keith.kalberer@wistatefair.com.
