The Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation Board of Directors has named Anna Zeck as the organization’s new executive director.
Zeck joins the Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation following a 24-year career with Milwaukee advertising and public relations agency, Laughlin Constable, where she served as vice president. During her tenure, she provided brand reputation and marketing communications counsel to a wide range of clients tied to the food and beverage industries including McDonald’s Restaurants, Coca-Cola and Jones Dairy Farm to name a few. She has held board and marketing leadership positions with several area non-profits including Gold In September, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin and SHARP Literacy.
“As a Foundation that has been in existence for more than two decades, our board of directors recently re-examined our mission and goals and our search for new leadership was part of this strategic planning process,” said Mike Wojciechowski, board president. “We’re thrilled to welcome Anna and are confident that her blend of agency creativity and community outreach will help us achieve our vision of more impactful programming and important preservation and renovation work on the Fairgrounds.”
The Foundation recently awarded $100,000 to the Wisconsin State Fair Dairy Promotion Board for the development of a new interactive exhibit, Dairy Lane, which will open in time for the 2019 Fair. The new exhibit, which replaces the House of Moo, is the most extensive enhancement to the Lower Cattle Barn in more than a decade.
The Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation, established in 1995, is a 501c3 non-profit corporation. The Foundation is committed to providing a superior experience for Wisconsin State Fair Park visitors through public and private partnerships; year-round art and education programs; public safety and security initiatives; and the continual enhancements and environmental sustainability of the grounds.
