Two distinguished local leaders have been appointed to the Wisconsin State Fair Park Youth Foundation Board.

Diane Charno, director of account services at Boelter & Lincoln, Milwaukee, is a veteran in the marketing industry. She works with clients and teams to create integrated marketing communication plans and has been the lead account manager for the Wisconsin State Fair since 2001.

Doak Geiger is founder of Geiger & Associates, a marketing firm specializing in strategic planning, event marketing and management for national clients.  Prior to forming his own company, Geiger worked for more than 12 years in various positions at Miller Brewing Company, including event marketing, new products and promotions.

Charno and Geiger are the newest members of the 11-member Wisconsin State Fair Park Youth Foundation Board. At its recent February meeting, the board also elected officers. Those elected to positions include:

• Board President: Steve Sazama, Saz's State House, Milwaukee
• Board Secretary: Steve Johnson, Miller Brands, Wauwatosa
• Board Treasurer: John Sheehan, Beechwood Sales & Service, New Berlin

The Wisconsin State Fair Park Youth Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting year-round youth programming, the Tommy G. Thompson Youth Center, and future facility planning and development at Wisconsin State Fair Park.  People can support the Youth Foundation through membership, purchasing commemorative bricks and participating in the annual golf outing, Golf-On-A-Stick on Monday, June 9th at Western Lakes Golf Club in Pewaukee.
