Dairyland youth celebration

Each year, the Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation supports the Dairyland Youth Celebration which recognizes the accomplishments of more than 600 exhibitors who participate in the junior dairy and junior dairy goat shows at the Wisconsin State Fair.

wisconsin state fair youth day camp

The Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation is a major sponsor of the Fair Youth Day Camp Program.  Each year more than 200 urban 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders have the opportunity to spend a day "Behind The Scenes" at Wisconsin State Fair.  4H Volunteers take these students to visit the DNR Park, hands-on farm animal care demonstrations, a tour of the Discovery Barnyard, a ride on the Giant Slide, a taste of Wisconsin agricultural products, and a craft, songs and hands-on educational activities.

tommy g. thompson youth center

The Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation played a major role in generating support and funding for the development of the Tommy G. Thompson Youth Center which houses more than 4,000 junior exhibitors during the annual Wisconsin State Fair. In recent years, the Foundation raised funds and donations to upgrade all of the bedding in the dormitory.
